DaNia created Proxy Politics to serve as a political rubric on her journey to creating social justice. This website is intended to encourage a learning environment for both DaNia and her audience to discuss and analyze current events.
DaNia first became interested in law after learning about Supreme Court cases like Dred Scott v. Sanford, Plessy v. Ferguson, and Brown v. Board of Education in high school. Since then, she has grown to become an advocate in various aspects of her community. She has worked at a social justice consulting firm for almost two years, is president and founder of a student-run social justice think tank, has served as student government representative for her university's history/political science department, helped create a campus-wide mentorship program for her university, and is a member of her local NAACP chapter.

DaNia Henry is a recent Oakwood University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science (minor in mathematics). She plans to pursue her law degree this Fall 2018. DaNia's professional goals include practicing international human rights law and creating global policies that support minorities.
